Dear Dr. Weller,

This review is for Dr. Paul Weller at Parkside, and the fabulous staff. Unfortunately, as part of some excellent dental work I am having done by my dentist, Leo Arellano (see my review of him), I had to have some root canals too. Dr. Leo referred me to Dr. Paul, and my fear went from 1000% to zero after the first 20 minutes. No one is more afraid of dental work than I am, but Drs. Paul and Leo ended that forever. Since this review is about Dr. Paul, I'll focus on his care. In addition to being excellently competent and professional, he is gentle, ultra-careful, sweet and compassionate (calls the next day to be sure you're ok). The work is done now, but I consider Dr. Paul a friend and always will. The staff is what you'd expect with Dr. Paul -- genuine, kind and professional. They all deserve the highest possible rating.. wish I could give them 100 stars.

Dear Dr. Weller,

I'm not entirely sure how to give a positive review based on a root canal, but here it is.

I was referred to Parkside Endodontics by my regular dentist, Donna Lem over at Jang & Associates General & Family Dentistry, when I needed a wacky x-ray and painful tooth evaluated by an endodontist. They had readily available appointments and a friendly and professional staff. The office was clean and easy to get to off the L-Taraval. Dr. Weller got me seriously numb before proceeding with the root canal. They appear to have properly billed my insurance company for the considerable expense that a root canal incurs.

I guess that's the most you can hope for from an experience like that, and yet it was a root canal and so I just can't bring myself to give them all the stars!
